Belize is located in Central America along the Caribbean Sea with an
estimated population of 390,353 people. It became an independent
nation in 1981, and tourism has become the biggest drivers along with
agriculture and services. Belize’s primary exports are citrus, sugar, and
bananas.
Belize is considered an upper-middle-income country with a GDP per
capita of $4,806.50. Despite this, a 2009 study revealed that 41.3
percent of the population of Belize lives at or below the poverty line.
The main at-risk group in Belize is the children. In 2016, 49 percent of
the children in Belize lived in poverty. These children lack access to
basic needs such as food & healthcare and are vulnerable to exploitation.

This program aims to provide different opportunities for those in need of educational assistance:
Building a house for families that are in troubled circumstances such as the elderly, women and children facing domestic and physical abuse and don't have anywhere to go or those that encounter fire or natural disasters.
This program aims to host annual camps for kids and pre-teens. This educational camp will include six weeks of training & recreational activities linking with different sectors of society. The kids will learn Peer Relations, Team Building, and Basic Survival Skills. After our six weeks programs, the kids will take with them, not only fond memories of games and roasting marshmallow at the camp fire, they will be equipped with knowledge and vital information to help them through their everyday living.
